Alex de Carvalho is a business development professional with more than
10 years strategic planning, marketing and sales experience. He currently
serves as Vice President at The Middlebrook Group, a mid-size business
strategy firm, where he advises clients on increasing market penetration,
optimizing international sales, identifying key channel partners and expanding
distribution.
During his career, Alex has directed business development efforts at
online media and mobile content companies. He set up the direct marketing
business in France, Germany, Austria, Spain and the UK for Buongiorno-Vitaminic.
Prior to that, he co-founded E-Mail Vision, a leading European application
services provider specialised in online direct marketing, qualified lead
generation and loyalty programs in France, the UK and Germany.
Previously, Alex advised leading companies on strategy and organization,
including Chevron Oil, General Motors, Corning Saint-Gobain / Eurokera,
British Airways, Repsol, VISA, Borealis, Nortel Networks, Le Parisien
and Air France.

An Insead MBA, Alex is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish
and Finnish. He has lived in the USA, UK, France, Brazil, Finland, Russia
and Portugal. He currently works and travels between Paris, Miami, Rio
de Janeiro and São Paulo.
